This day was perfect from start to finish. Michelle and Oliver had been together for more than 11 years on the day of their wedding. It was a gorgeous September day at Emerald Lake Lodge. Autumn had just begun setting in. With golden larch trees and tangerine-toned leafs sprinkled about, this special couple could not have chosen a more perfect day to wed. There’s a reason people travel from around the world to visit Emerald Lake, after all, the vibrantly blue water is so gorgeous it almost feels otherworldly.

On this enchanting day, Michelle got to experience two heartwarming first looks. One with her father and one with her now-husband, Oliver. The couple had their first look in a gorgeous field of wildflowers where the wedding would occur later that afternoon.

The ceremony was intimate and absolutely heartwarming. The beautiful arch that the couple said their vows beneath stood in front of the glistening lake and below sprawling blue skies.

The reception’s decor was a perfect combination between moody and cozy, with refined accents and dark florals to compliment the light linens and soft touches in the place settings. The magnificent flowers were by Willow Flower Co, the beautiful cake was by Kake By Darci, and the unique decor was from Mountain Event Rentals and Modern Luxe. The day was captured by Vanessa Lynne Photography and Michelle’s gorgeous hair and makeup were done by Simply Me.

The day was endlessly special and we were beyond grateful to have a hand in bringing it to life.
