We love a spring wedding in the Rocky Mountains. Kayla and Mark had an unforgettable wedding in Canmore, Alberta, in March 2022. It was a perfect day for a wedding. The sun was peeking through the clouds, and the snow had dried up in the valley bottom, yet the mountains were still snow-capped and as grand as can be. The venue was the enchanting Malcolm Hotel, located in the heart of Canmore. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle but right in the middle of the action, you couldn’t dream of a more perfect location. The colour pallet was a beautiful toffee, beige, and terra cotta, with accents of greenery to compliment the natural surroundings.
An outdoor ceremony with a background of the iconic Three Sisters was the essence of modern elegance and nature-inspired class. Kayla approached her soon-to-be husband in a delicate lace dress, and the two were married with their most beloved friends and family members bearing witness. Kayla’s lovely hair and makeup were done by Lilies & Lace Beauty Co., the decor was rented from Mountain Event Rentals & Boxwood Events, Kaylyn McLachlan Photography captured the entire event, and the gorgeous blooms were courtesy of Blue Lake Floral Design.
The reception was hosted in The Malcolm’s ballroom, the floor-to-ceiling windows allowing the most beautiful of views all night long. It was a gorgeous event in every way, and the energy of love and support was palpable. This day will not soon be forgotten, and we were over the moon to help bring it to life.
