Victoria & Scott
It was a gorgeous December day in the Rockies. The snow was deep, the air cold, and a special sort of calm hovered in the air. Tucked away from it all, Victoria and Scott woke up at Baker Creek on the morning of their wedding day.
“Days that are short and cold and dark are just as amazing as the days that are long and bright and warm,” said Scott, reflecting on just how grateful he feels to share his life with Victoria each day. “My vow is to never stop loving you and work tirelessly to find and seek forgiveness. And when times get tough, I will sit back and look at the beauty that the world has given me. These vows I will keep close to my heart as they are the reasons I live. The reasons I strive to be better and the reasons I want to be with you from now until the end,” he continued through tears.
In return, Victoria said: “I vow to respect you and to listen when you speak. I vow to celebrate your wins, big or small, especially fantasy football. I vow to finally make you that sandwich, to eat all my vegetables, and to go to the Boeing museum with you. I vow to stop trying to get you to read Harry Potter. I will love it enough for the both of us,” she told her groom. “I vow to always be on your team, and stand by your side for the great times and the impossibly hard times. To support your dreams and encourage your passions. You are the love of my life. You and no other,” she continued.
The two spoke through tear-filled eyes, holding each other’s hands tightly and speaking from their hearts in front of their nearest and dearest loved ones.
Victoria awoke that morning surrounded by friends. Friends who cheered “to the bride. To Victoria!” Her beautiful makeup and hair were done by Blush & Coco and she carried an exquisite bouquet by Willow Flower Co. Their love radiated between them and in the hearts of everyone who was fortunate enough to share in that special day.
The glistening slow and endlessly romantic cabins made the perfect scene for this uplifting event. The day was captured by the talented Darren Roberts Photography and it was a day that will not soon be forgotten.
